My two sons and I visited the store on a rainy Saturday afternoon. It was quite an amazing event. There were two employees that assisted my boys showing them a small indoor helicopter that just totally was what we needed to play with at home. The store owner was showing others a simulator program that they have set up on a computer we also purchased this. Now we have a great place to visit for birthday and holiday presents. They also have a selection of products for school projects. I would like to thank Clark for such a great store that is in our neighborhood. And advise all parents with children to go there.

I have been a customer for 14 years he has never sod me any thing that I can not get parts for or that he can't fly drive or fix. He has taught me a lot about the R/C hobby cars, planes and helicopters. I have seen him give customers batteries and chargers knowing that the customer did not charge the batteries per the manufactures directions.he will order items he does not have in stock. All the people who work there know how to use what they sell and share their knowledge.

I had heard how rude the store owner was but I wanted to judge for myself. When I walked in the old guy glanced at the broken chopper in my hand and rolled his eyes (but did not acknowledge I entered his establishment). After waiting for 10 min without a single greeting of any kind, I decided to leave. He was helping another customer in a rude fashion, as he tossed him around to another employee. I decided at that point I wasn't going to deal with rude service so I decided to leave. Only then did he acknowledge I was even there...as I was walking out the door. By the way, there is a great hobby store on University Drive/595, where I should have gone in the first place. Think of the economic hardships we are all experiencing before treating your customers like dirt. If you hate your job so much, retire.

The owner was such a tyrant! He berated his employees, reamed out some guy on the phone looking for replacement parts and threw another guy out of the store all in the 30-40 min I was there with my wife. This was the week before Christmas. Wow! Then he goes on to say how people can be so difficult. We didn't say a word, but when we left we looked at each other like I can't believe this guy is in business. RUN DON'T WALK FROM THIS STORE. The only good thing about this store is the name. Hobby Nut. Very true.

Prices are decen. Selection is pretty good especially for planes and traxxas parts. Both the owner and lady who work there are unfriendly. I go there as a last resort.
