We changed doctors to Dr. Hoang when our son was six months old. He was having several problems and Dr. Hoang was sure she could figure it out. She was able to see the first few minutes with our son that he had allergies. After a month or so we asked to see an allergist and a GI specialist which she wrote the referrals for. We were happy with the way things were going for a while until our son started to have some other serious problems. At that point Dr. Hoang and I were no longer able to see eye to eye. If you are considering Dr. Hoang I would strongly suggest meeting her and discussing her philosophies of medical care before doing so. That way you can make your best choice. Dr. Hoang has generous hours of availability. She is quick to get back to you. She will often speak with you over the phone instead of having you come in. She completely explains what she feels is wrong and gives a lot of detail. Her bedside manner and patience with our son left something to desire. Her patience with us as concerned parents is limited. I often felt like it is her way or the highway, we chose the highway!
