Ho'ala is one of the best, if not the best school in Hawaii. My son attended from Kindergarten & graduated a National Merit Scholar candidate. He has been able to begin adult life with a clear picture of who he is. Much of his confidence & success is because of the guidance he received at Ho'ala School.

My daughter is also a Ho'ala alumni. She has become a loving, intelligent person. She cares for disabled people without feeling it is a sacrifice.

Ho'ala IS the teachers, staff & families working together for the good of our children.

More schools should be like this wonderful school! My son has been going to Hoala School since Kindergarten. He has loved every moment! The teachers are well qualified,(most have masters degrees), nurturing and always consistent. The administration is responsive and caring. The class sizes are small so it allowed for individualized learning for my son when needed. We attended all series of the parenting classes which were a tremendous help to us! My son is a teenager now and Ho`ala has taught us how to continue communication even through the teenage years. The character education focus has allowed my son to be confident, respectful and responsible. He is able to make positive choices for himself that support his learning. Not only do we get support as a family but the academic curriculum is very impressive. Most importantly, my son loves to go to school! Hoala also has a wonderful fine arts program that has brought out the hidden talent in my son. He loves art and the art teacher Tina is truly a shining star at the school. We love Hoala School and all the opportunities it has offered my son and our family!

Located in the heart of Wahiawa, this small independent school for K-12 students has recently opened its first high school campus. The school's strong academic record is complemented by its equally important focus on character education. It strives to empower young people to become responsible, cooperative and effective citizens. Hoala provides diverse enrichment activities from visual arts to hula to service-learning. This is a great school for parents in the Wahiawa community.
