This lawyer took advantage of our family by charging us for multiple phone calls to people she didn't need to contact, and then when we spoke to those people she contacted later, they told us that she had spent almost the entire conversation talking about herself and her likes/dislikes. This means that several hundred of our dollars were spent to have her ramble on about topics that had nothing to do with our case. The rest of the money we paid her went to God-knows-what.
We are still waiting for a partial refund that she promised. I would actually go out of my way to recommend AGAINST contacting this person for legal advice, as she proved to us several times that she was downright dishonest.
