One of the best restaurants in the area. Trendy but intimate. Quality, variation and presentation of dishes are terrific. Start with butternut squash purses or gorgonzola stuffed dates - but keep in mind they're very filling and you'll want to save room. Also great starters are the "artisanal" cheeses and "salumi" - hams & salamis. Oak grilled steaks, braised short ribs, duck, snapper are all excellent entres.<br />

not just a tourist trap by Pam V. at InsiderPages
Even though this restaurant (and bar) is on the Las Olas strip, it has great food, good service and a very interesting menu. Its pricey (well, it IS on the strip), but worth a visit even for the locals.

Overly rich food
This is a high-end, great-looking place with good service and knowledgeable staff. Too bad the food is overly complex. We had 2 different appetizers and 2 different entrees, and they all suffered from from the same problem -- the use of too many highly-rich or overly-sweet ingredients that overpower your palate. The dishes were inventive and high-quality, but we could have shared a couple of appetizers and been just as happy.

Great food, great service, unfortunate tipping policy
Had dinner here on a Sunday night, which turned out to be "Guys Night Out" - half-priced entrees for unescorted men (aka no women). Had the salmon - excellent! - and the chocolate torte - tasty and not oversized. The service was attentive and warm. However, when the bill arrived, the experience was somewhat marred by the automatic addition of 18% gratuity. I understand this is common in southern Florida but the menu clearly states, "18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more". Thus, I was surprised to see it for a solo diner. I was planning on a 20% tip, due to the excellent service, but the misleading gratuity policy convinced me to stick with their 18% instead. Enjoy the food here but be don't be surprised about the tip.

Martini List Is Just The Begining of the Fun...Great Food
My family was bubbling over the summer fun martini list (we loved the watermelon and cucumber) but my wife (an expert in her own right) said the Cosmo's were the best ever. The meat dishes (pork chop, lamb) and the fish (encrusted yellowtail) were particular stars of the evening. Everything was cooked to perfection Just one of the more pleasant evenings of our vacation.
