I have been a patient at this office for 16 years. My doctor is Kalpen Patel and he is the most understanding dr I have ever had. He never rushes me and answers all my questions. I am currently pregnant with my 4th child and absolutely love him!! There have been a handful of times I've had to wait but usually due to an emergency at the hospital. The down side is they are affiliated with Cornerstone Healthcare and they are interested in money first and caring for the patient 2nd. But I wouldn't change my dr for nothing in the world!

Had two seperate appointments with Dr. Mattern. First time I was left waiting for nearly TWO hours with no explaination. Second appointment, same story - waited nearly an hour, finally left without ever seeing a sole. Dr. Mattern called with 'attitude' as if I'd done something wrong, she was rude and unconcerned about my time. Wouldn't go back to see her if it was FREE.

Dr. Mattern is a kind and caring Ob-Gyn. She is very considerate and her office and staff are top notch. They have the ability to do most tests there at the office including ultrasounds and lab work. They are located right across the street from the High Point Regional Hospital which makes it very handy in the event it is necessary.

Dr Louk is wonderful! He always takes the time to answer any questions you may have without making you feel rushed. He is very thorough in your care, and he puts you at ease with his calm demeanor.

One thing that sets him above others is he support of natural childbirth, which was very important to us.

Don't waste your time going to HP OBGYN. I waited for an hour for my appt & when I questioned the office staff, they were not helpful at all. I walked out!
