Wow, I can't go into WS without stopping at Hero House. I love their pork souvlaki on sub roll and philly cheese steak with a bit of extra cheese, please! The portobello sandwich with feta is also excellent, as is their tzaziki! Onion rings are wonderful, as always, and are even good when you get them home. I love it! I used to order our med student lunches from them 25 years ago-and they loved it as well.

All you need to know is the # 1. That number corresponds to this menu entry: Chicken Parmesan Sub Grilled marinated chicken, marinara and mozzarella cheese Their Chicken Parmesan Sub does not compare to others... It is so awesome. They have big chunks solid white meat chicken that appear to be grilled. Other places that sell a sandwich with the same name usually have what look like chicken nuggets instead. They are breaded and processed.. not solid. I have had little else on the menu, and am not a connoisseur of Greek food. The fries are also pretty good.

Stopped in to order a BLT - the waitress wrote down in the pad wrong. By the time that I got back to work and discovered the problem, I didn't have time to correct it. I called and was told that I would have to bring it back for an exchange. Since I didn't have time for lunch - I could bring it back later. In other words, I would have no lunch. There was no "I'm sorry" or offer to compromise their mistake. Since I don't like onions or much meat, I took the club meat off and ate a sandwich worth about $1.50, so I would have something to eat for lunch. Certainly not what I would have expected.
