I had read some bad reviews about them online but because of limited options, I made an appointment. I was still apprehensive and even considered skipping it entirely. We go in there and it doesn't look THAT bad, until my mom pointed out the the ceiling was falling down and there was a big hole in it.

I agree with other reviewers about it looking like 80s dresses, but I did my best to try a couple of dresses on. I found one that was pretty nice, but not the one. I also borrowed one of their bra things and it smelled like it had never been washed. I tried on one dress that was made so poorly that the top half was not aligned with the bottom half and was twisted weird when you put it on. Then the shoulders were different lengths, so one stuck out backwards and the other fit...

I had an appointment, but the lady wasn't really a help. I think her name was Maria. When we were there, another lady was there also and asked my mom where Maria went. Apparently she went to go get lunch next door or somewhere and just left us alone in the shop!

I left about 20 minutes later and do not recommend that anyone go in here unless you know they have a specific dress that you want.

We went to Henson's Bridal today to search for my cousin's wedding dress. We started out at David's Bridal (3111 Stevens Creek Blvd), where a snooty consultant turned us away because we didn't have an appointment...they were supposedly booked solid even though there were only 2 brides there at the time! David's Bridal ended up having a cancellation, and gave us the 12pm slot. We decided to go to another bridal store while waiting and found Henson's right down the road. It was a nice store, well organized. We were greeted by friendly consultants, no appointment necessary and we could pull any dress we wanted, which wasn't allowed at David's Bridal; where we had to trust the consultant would pull the right dresses according to our ideas. The consultant selected the most beautiful dresses for my cousin, each one fitting her perfectly. It was a hard decision, but we helped my cousin narrow her choices to 3 dresses before heading back to David's Bridal. After lunch, we went back to Henson's and my cousin tried on the top 3 favorites again...choosing one of them as her dream dress. It's stunning, unique and a great value! Her wedding is only 4 months away and they will be able to get it in time. Alterations cost extra, which seems standard at most bridal boutiques now, including David's Bridal, but that can add to the cost of the total purchase price. The thing I didn't like was that they don't allow photography, probably to discourage finding the perfect dress and then buying it elsewhere, but it would have been nice to have some pictures to compare to the ones we took at David's Bridal. Overall it was a great shopping experience and it was personal...a wonderful wedding planning memory.

The people in the store are extremely nice and helpful! I came all the way from Sacramento to go to another bridal store in the area, whose name I will not mention and I was every disappointed with them. On my way out of town I went to Henson and was so pleasantly surprised! I purchased my gown here and am very glad!
