This "Henrys" is located in a large strip mall right on the (busy) corner of Midway and Rosecrans in Loma Portal. Every so often over the years I've stopped into this "Henrys" as I was driving by, just to see what seafood or meat they might have on special. I've bought a lot of great seafood and meat here over the years in just that way. And when I do, I am always really happy with the price and impressed by the quality of the food.

I never think twice about stopping here because the parking lot of the mall in which this "Henrys" is located is so large. It's never a problem to get a parking spot. So it's easy to get in and out of there.

The store itself is actually not that large. It seems to focus on fresh produce and frozen foods. But I always make a bee line for the meat and seafood counter. More often than not, they'll be running a special on a particular meat or seafood that's at a really great price. And the quality of the meats and seafood I've bought there has always been really high. This is the place that I seem to get the best buys on 'high end' shellfish, like lobster tails and large jumbo scallops, foods that I might not ordinarily buy very frequently. They also sell sausages here that I think are really, really good.

If I have any complaint at all, it's that the check-out lines always seem to proceed a little more slowly here than at any other grocery store, in my experience.

This Henry's is very pleasant. Not that I have been in one that wasn't but I love the feel of this market. Their organic produce is fairly priced and is very good. The meat and the fish is fresh and very good. I can always find something I want or something I want to try because it looks so good. People are helpful in every department.
