After a cold experience at another vet that's closer to my house, I started taking my dogs to Hemlock Bluffs. Dr. Snyder is fantastic. All the vet techs are super-helpful and friendly.

I readily admit that my dogs are neurotic, weird little things. They're both shelter dogs - never know what you're going to get! The staff dealt with their crying, fighting, and weirdness without getting angry or giving up on them.

When I adopted another dog and her babies from the county shelter, they were all terribly sick. The entire staff was helpful, empathic, and together we developed a plan to get them healthy and to protect my two healthy dogs from possible infection. The vet and the staff called me daily to check on their progress.

Unfortunately, we lost all the puppies to distemper - there's no cure for distemper - but the momma dog is doing great. Without their caring and compassion, I could not have saved this one life.

Now I have three happy, healthy dogs. And Hemlock Bluffs is the reason why.

I have been using Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital for years. In all the years the vets have been hands on and a joy to work with. I know that all of my pets have had really good care. Dr Snyder took the time a couple of months ago to call me in the evening to check on my dog after she had surgery on her knee. She was getting ready to go out of town and wanted to make sure Annie was doing well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a caring vet.

This practice is simply the best! Dr. Snyder and her staff are all wonderful and very professional, courteous, and friendly. How a staff interacts with their patients is truly a reflection of the doctor and business owner. Every single member of her staff is top notch! Dr. Snyder is very thorough and caring and we plan to stay with them for years to come. I love the detailed reports we get when we leave her there.
We have left our maltipoo in their "pet hotel" a few times now and know that she has fun and loves it there. We were really concerned last summer as we had a flight to catch to go away for vacation and our puppy had had her "female" surgery couple wks prior to that. Dr. Snyder was going to remove her staples while she was boarded there, but our puppy at the last minute tore out several of her staples thereby needing to go under anesthesia again to be closed up again. We were so upset and planning to cancel our trip. They really reassured us to go ahead with our plans and that she would be ok. While we were away, her staff emailed us several times leaving us updates about how she was doing. It was wonderful! I highly recommend them to everyone!

Treats our family pets with great care, concern and gentleness. These doctors have always been there in our time of need.

We have been bringing our dogs to Hemlock Bluffs for 9 years now. The doctors and staff know our dogs and take great interest in them. Tucker and Holly love going there and we also board them there at the kennel. Both dogs have had surgery at Hemlock Bluffs and the results were great. Would not hesitate to recommend Hemlock Bluffs to others and we have no desire to go to closer animal hospitals and there are a bunch that we pass on the way from Fuquay.
