My husband just went to Dr. Helfand today for foot pain. He was very personable and did a wonderful job explaining everything. He also looked at my husband's shoes to check the wear. In addition he checked out his knees and hips as well as his feet. He came up with a diagnosis without any fancy tests, just good doctoring--a complete history and physical. My husband was able to get an appointment within a few days of calling. I recommended this podiatrist to my husband based on the reviews here--thanks! Hope this helps someone else.

I have been going to Dr. Helfand's office on and off for the past six years and found him to be more than excellent, always knowledgeable and effective. His receptionist is also very nice and helpful. It is easy to get an appointment even with only a week's notice.
