Hearts Pest Management has truly earned my trust and respect, which is not an easy accomplishment. Throughout the past nine years, I have been a witness to my neighbors who have tried other services, and from what I hear and patently see, none of the other companies come anywhere near to matching the dedication, integrity and customer support which Hearts consistently displays. Mind you, no company is 100% perfect, but, some genuinely strive to meet standards, and Hearts is one of those rare breeds. Thoughout the years, I have been fortunate enough to get to know the Heart's owner, and he, Gerry, is always approachable and faithful to his word. The staff makes me feel like family, despite what has got to be some very stressful customer call in or phone in work periods. They somehow manage this with grace, calm and precision, which always tends to satisfy me. Satisfying me, mind you, is no easy matter, as I am your quintessential customer badger, who feels he is entitled to your undevided attention and highest level of service. My money does not come easy, so for Hearts to have kept me on board for upwards of ten years, speaks volumes to what they bring...

The owner of Hearts Pest Management quoted me a rate of $35 per month for gopher treatment after I spent an initial treatment fee of $150.00. I spent the $150.00. When I called to schedule the follow up treatment for $35 on a Friday afternoon the service representative told me she had a busy week and she would call me the next week. She never returned the call. I followed up with a second call approximately two weeks later. I talked to the same woman. She verified the $35 per month quote with the owner and said she would fax me the service contract. She scheduled the service for Saturday, September 4, 2010. When the service technician arrived at our home he said he didn't have a service contract and the rate would be $89 per month. When I said I was quoted $35 and the owner verified it by phone, he called the owner. I also spoke with the owner who said he was on vacation and never had any conversations with his scheduling representative regarding the agreed upon rate of $35 per month. I encouraged him to talk with his scheduling representative. He refused. It was clearly a bait and switch. . I have been a customer of Terminix for 10 years and I have NEVER had a problem with their services or representation of their work and costs. I worry about how older people would be handled by Heart Pest Management. I reported Hearts Pest Management to the BBB.
