Excellent treatment and great service‎
Dr. Marcia Raggio has treated my daughter for hearing loss since she was four years old. Dr. Raggio always treated my daughter with kindness and respect. She patiently explained every procedure, answered all of our questions, and fitted my daughter with the best hearing aids available. Because of Dr. Raggio's excellent treatment, my daughter excelled in school and was admitted to Stanford. I can't begin to thank her enough for the expert and professional treatment she gave my daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Raggio based on her knowledge, experience and compassion. My daughter continues treatment with Dr. Raggio.‎

Very professional and good service‎
I have been in to see Dr. Raggio several times with family members and we have had a very good experience each time. She tested my mother's hearing and my son's hearing. Dr. Raggio takes the time to explain everything to us and answer all of our questions. She is quite knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone.‎

If I could give no stars I would
We had an appointment with Dr. Marcia Raggio, this morning (April 4, 2009) at 11:30 am. We were finally called into the doctor's office at 12:20 pm. Aside from the long wait time, my real complaint would be the way that she reacted to my four year-old son. We were to enter the "hearing booth" to test his hearing after a back-to-back series of ear infections that occurred a month ago. Naturally frightened due to the unfamiliar settings, he was hesitant and uncooperative. As I was asking him to enter the booth, Ms. Raggio stated that she "did not have time for this today." Noticing the distress in her voice, I politely I asked "Would you like me to reschedule, because I can?" But she further coaxed the appointment on, where in, we finally were able to negotiate for him to sit in the chair. All was okay until she took out what looked like a hearing gun or ear graph. My son refused to let her put it in his ear and started to throw a fit/tantrum. In the short duration (about 4 seconds) he had smacked the "gun" and screamed. This is when Dr.Raggio raised her voice and started yelling "YOU DO NOT DO THAT! DON'T YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!" Which then she looked at me, still with a raised voice "YOU CAN LEAVE NOW!" In a state of shock, I grabbed my son and walked out of the office. First of all, I don't think that strangers (especially doctors) should be allowed to yell at other people's children. No matter how difficult or misbehaved a child may be, yelling does not make any situation better. It is unprofessional , traumatizing, and demeaning to the mother and ,even more so, to the child. I understand that Dr.Raggio may have been overbooked and highly stressed today, but that was not my fault nor did my family deserve to be treated as if we were a pair of rodents. The worst part of it all was when my son, who was still crying when we exited the office, hugged my leg and said "Mommy, I was so scared, I was so scared." To think that I voluntary exposed and paid for him to be seen and have such a bad experience with this doctor is something I deeply regret.
