I agree with nuts4pups. I get food there and the long-haired woman is always so nice to everyone. I think her name is Melody. There is a man who works with her and they obviously love the work and working together. Sometimes I browse through the toys and leashes just to stay longer and listen to everything. It kind of reminds me of that old tv show "cheers" where they're always glad you came. If my husband didn't play golf with our vet I'd take my pets there.

Very knowledgable vets, really friendly and helpful staff, prices are a bit on the high side but you get great care in return. Everyone knows who your pets are and treats them well.

The front desk staff is so friendly, they make you want to stay all day, although iam sorry about the previous person's complaint, the woman with the very long dark hair at the front desk is the most welcoming person I've ever met. Some of the others that appear behind the desk in scrubs don't seem as friendly, but one woman who appeared in regular clothing from in back, and into the lobby reassured me that my pup would be in good hands: she was so sweet when i left my baby for a week and a half. My dog is never scared to go to "the vet" now! I appreciate all your help.

Hayes Barton Animal Hospital has simply been the best care my pets have ever had. The staff is so helpful and knowlegable...and they are always willing to patiently answer my questions. I am truely grateful for the many years of care my pets have gotten there.

Do not take your dog here to be groomed. My dog does not go to the vet here, and he has only been once to be groomed. Rest assured, he will NEVER go back. My dog has, well actually HAD, a beautiful, long and fluffy coat until today. It was one of my favorite attributes of his and the one thing everyone always commented on when they met him.

I took my dog in this morning to get a "trim". I specifically said that to the nice lady who checked him in. She asked if I wanted a summer buzz cut for him and I said "NO! Absolutely not! Only a little bit of a trim". Well a few hours later I picked up a dog that no longer even looks like my own. If what he got was their definition of a trim, I'd hate to see what they do when they actually give a dog a buzz cut. My dog looks ridiculous! The hair on his body is shaved so close to his body but for some idiotic reason they left his tail completely bushy. As if he doesn't already look ridiculously thin and wimpy, but now he has a huge tail to offset it and make his body look even sillier.

The only good thing about the experience is that the really sweet lady at the front desk saw him when I picked him up and knew that was not what I asked for. I was too upset to talk to anyone atthe time but was planning to call and give the office an earful. This lady was nice enough to call me to apologize and to refund my payment for his services. It was a very nice gesture and I was planning on demanding a refund. But, as she said, it doesn't take back what happened.

Clearly the groomer is an idiot. The lady at the front desk said she specifically wrote in my dog's chart that he was not to get a buzz cut and that she even circled it darkly. Whatever the groomer's problem is, I would warn anyone to not let her get a hold of your precious pups. I don't want anyone else to have to experience what my dog and I have gone through today.
