avoid Dr. Scherer
..OB gyns are friendly but 2 mistakes had been done. first mistake they forgot to do a test for down syndrome, told me oops sorry we forgot to take the test and it is too late to take it, told them it is ok i dont plan to terminate pregnancy anyway even if there is a possibility for down syndrome. Dr. Scherer released me after having my baby through C section. She told my husband to give me 800 mg of ibuprofen to ease the pain. .she did not tell him how often 800 mg of ibuprofen with oxycodone. can be taken and she didn't write the instructions down .since she told him it can be taken with oxycodone my husband followed what it says in the back of the bottle which is 4-6 hrs but followed the doctors order of giving me 800 mg of ibuprofen with oxycodone. I overdosed from ibuprofen all because Dr. Scherer didnt write the instructions and forgot to tell my husband how often it should be taken..I have been contacting doctors and nurses from hawthorne ob gyn but since i already had my baby nobody cares ....Fortunately i am still alive but im having all sorts of problems right now including shortness of breath, dizziness, possible kidney problems and abdominal pain which is possibly an ulcer. its been 3 weeks since my overdose I am still going to my family doctor for tests ..hopefully i will still be alive in the next 3 months .Also i had my baby delivered at forsyth hospital..do not leave the hospital without clear instructions from doctor or nurses..i was released in a rush because it was christmas eve Dec.24 2010 ..nurses were trying to get rid of patients as much as they could ...Never ever leave the hospital without written instructions for your medications ..I am really upset BECAUSE Of what happened but i am leaving everything in God's hands. I am not the suing type of person,..money is no good if Im dead ..but just wanted to warn other women if in case u decide to go to this establishment just pls. be careful. Ask for Dr. Mascielo or Braquet, they are good
