I had recently visited Dr. Hauss to follow up on this excruciating pain I was experiencing in my lower right jaw. Prior to the visit, I had not seen a dentist in over 10yrs! Naturally, I was terrified. But the pain was so unbearable I had to seek help! His staff greeted me with attentiveness and so much concern that I immediately felt a little more at ease. Dr. Hauss greeted me with a genuine smile and just like his staff, he was concerned to resolve the problem. He thorougly explained to me step by step the procedures that he was going to perform. He was pleasant at all times. Even gave me the t.v remote to ensure I was most comfortable. I had to get a root canal and I was almost in tears thinking I now have to endure more pain to get rid of my current pain! To my surprise, I didn't even feel the needle! His assistant had used an anesthetic gel to numb my gums prior to giving me the actual shots so I didn't feel a thing! He distracted me with a few jokes here and there and made the situation a bit "lighter". To my surprise, I felt no pain at all! He repeatedly asked if I was in pain to make sure my numbness has not worn off. He narrated every step so I was clear on exactly what was going on. He was the BEST DENTIST EVER!!! I highly recommend him! I was well taken care of from beginning til end!
