Good place by Jamie B. at InsiderPages
This place is not a fancy casino like in Vegas. They do have great poker tournaments and great restaurants like Cabo Wabo and Hard Rock. They have plenty of slots and tables that will give you a wide range of things to play.

Nothing Special
I wasn't impressed. I've had way better chicken fajitas at local Mexican restaurants for a lot less money. The margarita was good. The restaurant is really dark and not as "happening" as they'd like you to believe.

Great Poker by Rick R. at InsiderPages
Went to Harveys to play in a poker tournament. Good poker room and very friendly staff. Tournament was very well run. Cash games were even better. Great location and close to other casinos and restaurants.

Surprisingly Disappointed
I am so surprised about a few things... I've been to the Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucus several times and loved it. I had a great time and was treated wonderful by the employees as soon as I walked in the door. The food was great the drinks are great. I guess the difference is that Sammy is at that one over-seeing it a little better than this one. Sammy, Your management up in Tahoe leaves much to be desired. I called over and over again and only got a voice mail for the manager when I tried to make a reservation starting two weeks ahead of time for a large group of people (23). I never got a return call but I figured that maybe since it was a Sunday afternoon we'd have a great chance at still getting good seats and great service. Wrong! As we walked in, there was a sign that said "please seat yourself" so we did. We all sat in a section of the restaurant and were ready for a great time. Somebody came running up and saying that we were not allowed to sit there and if we wanted to stay we could sit at the tall bar tables. AFTER we got up they roped off that section. I asked why we weren?t called back after leaving all the messages and the waitress said she was aware that her manager got the messages from me over the past two weeks but he didn?t want the reservation and figured we would not show up if he didn?t call us back. That floored me that the manager had spoken to his staff about my reservation requests and still refused to just call me back and let me know that he would not accommodate my group. We all got up and went to ?The other hotel restaurant? instead and had a great meal and a great time. Our tab at ?The other hotel restaurant? was $680 plus tip. Sammy, I live in Reno along with everyone else in the party of 23. The best advertisement for Food and Beverage is word of mouth. I can assure you the worst advertisement you can get is word of mouth as well. Please speak to your Tahoe managers for your sake. And great job on your other restaurant!
