On Mothers day I went there to get some stuff for my kids and was very sad to see that they have closed up shop as of a couple of weeks ago. When I went next door to ask about them they said that they closed and did not have another location. Sad to know that they had to close due to the crazy economy.

We were recently vacationing with our kids in Santa Monica. Stacey and the crew at Harper Lane made it easy for us to shop while our 2 young babes explored the store, drew pictures and ate pretzels!!! Aside from the excellent customer service, the kids clothes are to die for! We outfitted our son and daughter in hip and practical clothes for everyday. Harper Lane is a MUST when in LA. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

My kids love going to Harper Lane because there are fun toys and books for them to play with and read and they can sense that they are welcome there. This makes my shopping experience much more enjoyable, without a doubt! (There is room for a stroller to manoeuver too.) The quality of clothing and merchandise is exceptional, and the selection and styles are adorable. The owners have clearly thought through everything that is on the shelves. I have bought stuff for my own kids there and have found several terrific shower gifts and birthday presents. I don't think you can go wrong at Harper Lane.

Great, interesting clothes and accessories. Funky, fun...all of their stuff has a personal feel. Don't go on Monday's, 'cuz they're not there.

You can really tell just by walking in that the owners wanted to create a welcoming experience for the whole family! My kids went straight to the "play"area and wrote a letter to the little chipmonk that "lives" in the store. I sent my mom back the next day and I love that she found things she adored and what she picked out was still hip enough for my little girl!!

Also, on Sundays the Farmer's Market is right across the street so it makes for a great activity.
