Dr. Rachel Richards will put you at ease immediately with her friendly attitude. She got into chiropractic practice after her mom suggested it many years ago, loves it, and has been at her current location for about a year and a half. Her services include not only Chiropractic care, but also nutritional therapy, and special work with pregnant women and babies. Dr.Richards explains that it is a vital time during pregnancy and making sure that everything is as it should be is very important. In some cases she can help in a non- invasive way to turn a baby that is not in the correct position. "It is very important to create space for the baby to turn" she says. "We take an interesting approach" Dr.Richards tells me how she looks not only at the physical reasons for health problems, but also the emotional and chemical. If someone is looking merely at the physical aspect of where the pain is coming from, they are missing so much. Emotions affect our bodies more than we usually understand, and hearing Rachel talk about how important all of these aspects are to her was incredibly interesting. For a holistic approach to pain and other health problems, I suggest checking out Dr. Richard's practice.
