As a recent owner of a 4-month old Australian Shepherd, I HIGHLY recommend Happy Tails for dog daycare. Everything from the location, facilities and most importantly, the staff is very attentive, helpful and you can tell are all animal lovers. I had a horrible experience with another Houston dog daycare and can say Happy Tails is nothing like that other place.

Susan, who I believe is one of the managers, is so warm and caring. She took her time answering my questions and putting to rest any concerns I had about leaving my pup in their care. She took me on a site tour and explained to me what goes on in a typical day at their daycare.

Still have hesitations?? Happy Tails has a webcam where you can watch your dog play. There is always a care-taker in the playrooms and you can actually watch them supervising the dogs as they interact with one another. They also are great about cleaning up any bathroom accidents on the floor, so you don't have to worry about your dog stepping in poo.

Just thought everyone should know that Happy Tails is completely full with their day care and boarding. Do not bother calling because they have no space available.

Keep in mind: You cannot board your dog here unless he/she is a day care customer as well.

Try another facility. Always calls first to see if they have availability.

We have taken our black labs here for doggy daycare and overnight boarding a handful of time and LOVE it! Especially because you can watch your pups play from any computer (they have web cams)...The caregivers are really nice and seem to actually enjoy the dogs...and they have a pool outside for the pups to play in! *****

I took my puppy for his very first hair cut last week to happy tails. I was nervous leaving him because the staff was SO inattentive when I dropped him off (in their defense, it was the week before Christmas and very busy), When I picked him up at the end of the day, however, he looked absolutely beautiful and seemed quite happy. I guess they pay more attention to the dogs than the owners.

WOW! This place has the worst customer service i have ever seen! I called to make a reservation for our two dogs and was told they had accomidation for both, no problem. However when i told her we had a jack russel terrier and a rotty, suddenly she only had one spot available. Not only did she refuse our big dog but was VERY rude about it. Our dog love eachother, our big one is very gentle and well behaved, and we would never seperate them! NEVER EVER USE THIS KENNEL!!!
