Happy garden has long been our favorite for chinese in the santa Cruz - Watsonville area. Some time in the last year (I think) they got new owners and the food is EVEN BETTER. The sauces they use give everything we have tried fantastic flavor amd the portions are all generous . The service has always been prompt, freindly and accurate. Every time we end up going to a different chinese restaurant (only if we are not close buy) we are always dissapointed - the flavors just do not come close. If I had to come up with a negative the only one I have is that they keep the restaurant to cold - we always have to keep our jackets on which takes away from the pleasure but is a worthwhile sacrafice to get such delicious food.‎
