This is a great little sushi place with fresh fish and a staff that is top notch. I have eaten at Hane a few dozen times and have enjoyed every meal. They have a great blackened tuna roll and all of their salads are amazing due to a unique take on ginger dressing. Highly recommend Hane. Only drawback is that the space is a little small, but the quality of the fish and friendly service more than makes up for it.

It's hard to find decent, reasonably priced food in mid-town/Murray Hill area. This sushi place is small, always busy, and has great lunch specials. Sushi lunch special ($9) is generous - soup, salad, California roll and 5 pieces of sushi (tuna, salmon, yellowtail). It's always fresh and service is always good. Get there early to get a table without having to wait.

solid neighbourhood sushi joint: good choice for a reasonably priced neighbourhood sushi restaurant. nothing stands out as outstanding but everything is solid. servers are very attentive.

Murry Hill isn't a Manhattan culinary highlight but this place is helping to break down that image. Consistently good sushi and service are only made better by a great value $12.95 prix fixe lunch... which is definitely the time of day to visit this place. With simple, easy on the eyes blonde wood, the interior is small but intimate. They take reservations but waits go quickly anyway so just stick with the queue. Crispy spicy rolls are a highlight.
