Well people of the towns and small city's that surround Houston, Tx....STAY AWAY from ANY company that Ray Hernandez is associated with!!! i.e. The Handyman Depot and A.I.G. Construction. This is a "man" that has a fast tongue and a healthy appetite for others hard earned cash. A con artist that promises everything can be done, and done in a timely matter to your beautiful house, and ends up avoiding your calls, after he has snaked your deposit, or even in most times, the whole amount. Ray is notorious for leaving jobs "half ass" and then just...disappearing. He has run away with ALOT of people's money through the years of perfecting his art. Even his "workers" were his victims, on MANY occasions. Paying them a fraction of what they had actually worked. With the promise that the rest will be paid within a few days...which never came. Knowing that families depended on that full amount to survive. I should know. I was one of those victims. There are MANY people that don't like this company for obvious reasons. But it's really desperate on Rays end that he made his brother in law defend his name by writing a false "GOOD" review just to TRY and save face. Just look at Babyboy14's page. He became a member the SAME day he posted that review. LOL!! He, or his fat cow of a sister Hope P, read ALL the previous BAD reviews on here and had to defend by writing something that pitiful. Lionel has defended the company on other bad reviews that have been left ALL over the internet. Saying that THD is the "best". LOL!! Well, I TOO wish I would have read the bad reviews before I seeked employment there!!

Aside from Handyman Depot and A.I.G. Ray Hernandez also is associated with Allegiance Construction and AF Construction. AF has an F rating with the Pasadena BBB. Allegiance was featured on Channel 13 consumer action.

We had the misfortune to hire him. Very little work was done. That turned out to be good because the work that was done was so poor it had to be redone, often at considerable cost.

what can I say about these scam artists that hasn't already been said? They will take your money, won't do any work and then threaten you with slander if you post anything against them. By the way, Michale Utz, when you write something untrue against someone it's called libel not slander. But in this case I am going to share with you my honest story of how these professional criminals operate.

I spoke with Ray Hernandez to come to my home to do some work. He came, looked around, talked his big talk and asked for a $1400 deposit. And then I never saw him again. Rather all I would hear from him over the phone were pitiful excuses of why the work needs to be delayed "another week". This went on for a few months and now I've decided to not only write reviews about these criminals but also file a law suit.

Save yourself some time and money, and go for someone who is highly rated and reliable even if they charge a little more. I promise you it is worth it in the long run.

The old saying you get what you pay for it so TRUE. Although, they may be slightly (just a little) over priced you will SEE they difference. I had another contractor come to my house to do some work and they total messed up a job that I thought in the begining was good. The Handyman Depot came out an REDID almost everything I paid the first contractor that I could no longer reach over again. Their work was poor and my shower leaked after a mear 8 months. I have had my new shower and bathroom that The Handyman Depot did for over a year no with NO problems. I have used them for several additional jobs around my house and continue to recommend them to all my friends!
If in doubt call these guy FIRST!

They will take you money and run!! You will never see/hear from them again!! Their voicemail box stays full so you can't call and complain either...
