As walmart is to some women, hancock's is to me. Being a new quilter, i am alwasy on a search for new fabric to make my next quilt, or a new pattern for another quilt.
Hancock's is basically the Houma's area only fabric shop and boy are they ever stocked with new and up to date fabrics, notions and sewing items.
And the best part, the store has these bargain tables where fabric is as low as 1.45, can't beat that price.
Staff is always friendly, parking is not a problem. My only problem, i spend too much money when i do go into hancocks.

PROS: sale tables, great sale ads, ample parking,
CONS: too far from my home
