a perfect stay: We loved this hotel. It was small, which we like, tastefully done and within walking distance of the South Street Seaport and lower Manhattan. The Brooklyn Bridge was nearby and we could see the lights of a ship in the harbor from our window. The best was the room! Small but with every detail perfect...most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, lots of pillows, a duvet to die for, flat screen TV, internet access, soft colors and almost a zen-like feel. Outstanding service: What makes this hotel exceptional is its service. Every employee goes out of his or her way to make sure your stay is as positive as possible. They provided umbrellas when it rained, bagged the continental breakfast so you could grab it and run, brought up complimentary chocolates to the room just to be nice, and called to ask if there was anything more they could do.
