Simply the best!! Docs so nice and would recommend to anyone!!‎

They ordered the wrong frames for my son, then claimed we told them to. Once the woman realized that she was in the wrong, she continued to be rude with a smile on her face and said she would reorder them. A week later we went to pick them up and they are still the wrong set of frames. She insists they are correct. The ones we ordered were silver and these are brown and they are way to big for his face. Not to mention, they cost over $300.‎

I have been going to Hamilton Mill Eye Care for a couple of years now but not for the products or customer service. The only reason I am a return customer is for the doctors. The glasses are extremely expensive and take quite a while to get once ordered. But now I know not to buy them there. The contacts too are not reasonably priced but in the upper range of lens pricing. However, the doctors are great and very thorough. I highly recommend them. So, to put it simply, 1/2 a star for pricing, 3 1/2 stars for staff (friendliness winning over insurance and billing knowledge), and 5 stars for the docs equals an average of 3 stars altogether. Best recommendation: See the doctors regarding your eyes, then ask for a written rx for glasses or contacts. They are fine with that.

"I recently experienced an emergency condition in my Left eye"
What do I do now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After rapidly looking for the best eye doctor's in the field, regarding my unexpected emergent condition, I found "Hamilton Mill Eye Care".
This urgent situation come up one morning, for no expected reason ! ( eye vessel hemorraghe) and the Doctors (specialists) that I needed to see could only schedule me 1 to 2 weeks out. Now how unfortunate is this! I panicked being somewhat new in the area. What do I do now?
So we (family) started reviewing the internet for Eye Doctors close buy and fast, we found Hamilton Mill Eye Care in Buford, Georgia. I picked up the phone and called immediately. They had no times available, but replied " come on in at 2:00pm and we will squeeze you into the schedule". When I got there, the office nurse/nurses, and administrator took immediate care of me followed by examination with the Doctor and an immediate appointment made by them, following-up with a Retinal Specialist the same day. They SAVED my left eye. Now I think this says alot for their expertise at this office. I owe these Doctors and Staff alot. " Thankyou!"
I always have said, " Medicine is not just a job!, It is a commitment to life" They fulfilled it for me. As for all my incidentals, they were all taken care of appropriately, with no problems.

Again, thankyou Hamilton Mill Eye Care!

I CALLED THE OFFICE TO SCHEDULE APPT FOR MY DAUGHETER ASKED IF THEY ACCEPTED MY INSURANCE AND THE RECEP SAID YES. BROTHER TOOK MY DAUGHTER AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL THE DR WAS NICE AND THEN WE WENT TO CHECK OUT AND GUESS WHAT THEY DIDNT ACCEPT MY PLAN EVEN THOUGH I DID CALL AND ASK THEM BEFORE MAKING THE APPT. AND THEN CHARGED ME $75 I SPOKE WITH THE GIRLS AT THE DESK (CLULESS)THEN THE DOCTOR, AND TOLD THE DR HE NEED TO TRAIN HIS OFFICE STAFF TO BE MORE CAREFULL. WHEN THEY TELL PATIENTS YES WE ACCEPT YOUR INSURANCE (BUT SHE DIDNT ASK WHAT PLAN) I WOULD NOT REFER ANYONE TO EVER USE THIS OFFICE. NEVER!!!!!!!!
