I've been having my hair cut at Oscar's place since 1986 - 23 years now. He has consistently done a great job cutting my hair - and believe me, I've had some pretty bad haircuts over the years.

He's friendly, remembers details about each customer and their family, and shares funny anecdotes about life, vacations, family and current affairs. In short, a perfect place to relax, get one's hair cut, read car magazines and chat.

The price of a haircut is also very reasonable.

I've been going to the Hairstop since moving to San Diego 5 years ago. The owner (Oscar) always listens to what I want and gives me a fantastice haircut for what I consider an incredible bargain, only $10. When I lived in the midwest I would get my hair cut for 3 to 4 times that much and have never been as pleased with the results. Plus Oscar is a great guy!
