Vijya, who owns and operates Hair Plaza, has been cutting my hair since I was a freshman in college. It's been more than eight years. She worked in Davis before and was super-popular there, especially among the students. I realize that the posts on this site, thus far, talk about how well she serves her female clientele. I'm a guy and take it from me she is absolutely excellent at giving haircuts for men. I am always happy with my haircut...always! I give her my highest recommendation. Hair Plaza is very affordable and the service is great.

I went there on a whim to get my eyebrows done for an event and I have been going for 3 years now. The owner and her daughter-in-law thread eyebrows with such precise technique. One of my eyebrows grows pointing up and it is really difficult to get that to look feminine but they do it! ALSO she massages my face and temples afterwards and it is amazing! Best part, it only cost $11 but their service and quality is worth $50

Hair Plaza is hidden in a strip mallish building off Folsom blvd. It is an excellent place to get a haircut or other feminine styling needs. The owner operator is very friendly and very good at cutting hair. The haircut is around $15 for a guy, which is pretty standard for any chain hair stylist. My 'business' cut is the best hair cut I've had in the area. It's a 15 minute drive from Davis, but it is well worth it. The bonus that seals the deal is the head massage the hair stylist gives you after the haircut. It's awesome and included in the $15 bill.
