Check with the SPCA regarding a visit during the first week of May 2008.
I wouldn't let my dog play with a dog that was groomed there. Be careful!!!!

I have been taking my two dogs to Grub and Groom for many years, I am not sure when I discovered them. Not only do my dogs come home gorgeous, but they are a lot more calm than when they have come out of other groomers. In addition, one of my dogs has a pretty crazy skin condition that pops up in the summer and Grub & Groom uses a special treatment on her that scares that skin condition away until the next year. The first year they noticed her skin, they bathed her, then we talked, and they had me come back the next day for this special bath, free of charge. I highly recommend Grub & Groom.

I found this shop to be high assembly line-like in their grooming approach. Also, unprofessional and rude.

Apparently there was so sort of tiff between the owner and one of her groomers. I didn't appreciate having to hear the riff.

I wasn't impressed, and won't be back.

There is a fabulous groomer there named Christine ( I think -- it might be Christina) from England or South Africa or Australia and she was so helpful trying to groom my big Husky/Akita mix Beastie. He was not taking the whole thing very well at all, but she was so understanding and loving and had such a sense of humor about the whole thing, even though he was growling and wiggling away and even trying to bite her (!!).

Also there's another man there who finished the grooming -- actually as far as I can tell, ALL the groomers at G&G are lovely, and their prices aren't bad, for grooming, bathing, or supplies. We have many animals and we would always trust them to G&G .
