You can tell from my reviews that I like discount shopping - and Grocery Outlet is a great place - worth the drive to either National City or Oceanside to stock up. They offer lots of organic foods, which I found interesting. I buy the wine and frozen foods every time I am there. They also have all kinds of brand name cosmetics and personal products - Crest White Strips are usually in stock for 1/2 of what they are elsewhere. They offer all kinds of cookies, snacks, Mexican food, and ice cream. The only thing I don't usually get there is the produce because I find it a little long in the tooth. Go visit and check out the wine selection - it's great! You can fill up your cart for $100.

I finally went back after not feeling like driving down to NC, but the drive proved to be well worth it. The close out savings are GREAT! Yeah it could make some feel mixed, but who cares. They expanded their wine selection, and I forgot how great it was to stock up on the daily things. Just remember to check expiry dates as some are close. I am addicted again.

This place I was told about many years back from a friend that had a large family. No it is not Vons, but the savings here do add up. Some of the things you do need to watch the expiry date, but for cleaning supplies, cheeses, milk/creamers, canned good, and limited wine/beer it will save some funds. The people are friendly there as well.
