No Need to Crawl with this Pub
This is a classic pub. If you're sitting at the bar on a cold and dreary day, drinking
a hoppy IPA and eating the juicy chicken sandwich, there is really no reason to leave.
The Hill Top Ale House is equally as good.

Great beer selection and food! by Seagul S. at InsiderPages
I tried one of their seasonal ales and it was excellent. I had their black bean burger that sadly didn't come with fries, the burger itself was great but very awkward to eat since it is served on pita bread. I highly recommend their goat cheese salad, very tasty and the cheese was heated and breaded perfectly.

Pros: Great food and great beer
Cons: no liquor selection and no fries

(I was in the mood for Baileys and Hot Chocolate and burger and fries when I entered the door, was sad when I realized they didn't have most of what I wanted, nonetheless I left very happy with my experience there)

Love the local place but the manager is #$@%
Love the local place but the manager or the man that has been there for years is a #@$#@. Lat night he cam out of the bar and yelled at the three of us about F-y about the tip? How can the owners of this pub have him there and it is not the first time. Get ride of that problem and the bar is nice.

I'm definitely a repeat customer, but...
The one problem I always have here is service. I know it's busy, the staff while shoot nasty looks at anyone who walks in the door on those nights!

That said, the food is consistently great and the chef designs creative and tasty soups, which I have even been known to order on a hot summer day because they're so tempting. Great specials sheet (although they run out quite often), and good brews. Annoying when customers sit at a table for hours on a busy night though.

Food , Beer: Top Notch. I am a repeat customer!!!!!!
I have not ever had a bad meal here and the service, while not always perfect is pretty damn good. Service is much better if you sit at the bar, in my experience. I wish some of the specials were on the menu as full time menu items.
Menu items are a BIT more expensive than some pubs but worth it!
