Not Happy! by Z. G. at InsiderPages
When I changed insurance I had to change doctors. The first time I saw Dr. Prieto, he decided I needed an annual and took my blood work. That was the last time I saw him. Some weeks later, a secretary called me to come get my prescription?!? I had to ask why. Due to my blookwork was all I was told, I demanded a copy of it ready when I come in. I signed in & was handed my prescription through the front window. I got my results & had to ask the gentleman at the front window (who didn't really know) what the prescription was for & why I had to take it. It was a low dose cholesterol med. (the guy says because it wasn't that high) being only 16 points over, & I will be taking it indefinetly. NOT. I left with it, but never took any. Studied alternatives which were an increase in fiber & excercise, dropping it back to normal. I NEVER went back. This doctor should have seen me, discussed this with me, & any options or alternatives. I wouldn't doubt that he charged my insurance for a visit when I picked up the prescription through the window that day.
