When I am downtown, I make it a point to go to Greenlee's and get their cinnamon bread. It is our famiys favorite. They also make cookies and other pasteries. They have a lunch menu (sandwiches), which you can sit outside to eat. (they only have a few tables though).

I first tried this cinnamon bread when a coworker brought it into the office. It was so delicious!

Since then, I've purchased it a couple of times at the downtown San Jose farmer's market, as well as the farmer's market at Vallco.

They say you can freeze it, but why not just it eat right away?

This is absolutely the best cinnamon bread we have ever tasted. I live in San Francisco and drive 30 miles to Redwood City to buy it. I just learned today that Greenlees Bakery will be selling it at markets here in the city after the New Year. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
