Wilder Pet Urgent Care. by Logan C. at InsiderPages
I was nervous to call this place after I read the other horrible review. But it was after midnight and I was worried about my dog. I called and spoke to a young man (unfortunately, I did not get his name). He could not have been nicer or more helpful. He was compassionate, caring and very well informed. He told me how to check if my dog was having trouble breathing because of pain stress or lack of oxygen. He explained that he felt my dog was just stressed out and thought we could hold off on coming in. But he also very clearly told me that if I felt I needed to come in that the charge was $72.00 for the office visit PLUS whatever else they did. Which is very standard. I was very pleased with the information I received.

My experience by Mike S. at InsiderPages
This place is open 24 hours a day. The service is horrid, the Dr. is Cold and uncaring. We called this office because our pet needed stitches (2) after hours. We were told the visit would be $60; this quickly went up to $200! For 2 stitches. We were then told to go away for a couple of hours then come back and pick her up, (around midnight) if we couldn't then there would be another $69 tacked on. Maybe I don't understand the cost of vet medicine, but we had just had her spayed, at a cost of under $200, and she stayed for 2 nights. When we told the Dr. we couldn't afford that much right now, there was no offer of a payment plan, or any other way of paying. The Dr. told us that either we pay it now or he would file felony criminal charges against us. We can't afford that either. So we borrow the money and pick her up. When we picked her up, the bill had added charges for an e collar we didn't ask for, and for take home pain medication we didn't receive or ask for because we already have some at home from her being spayed. We care very much about our pets and their health; it's too bad there are vets out there that seem to be in it only for the money (to this extreme). Our regular vet is very caring and understanding; we will be searching for a clinic that is open for emergencies that is more like that, so we can avoid places like this. Note: We do understand that Vets have bills to pay like the rest of us, and they need to be paid for their services. We don't have a problem with that; we do have a problem with being misled, wrongly charged, threatened, and condescended to. If you are into that, this is your kind of place
