I have worked with Granny's Garage for 5 years. My experiences have been always positive. Kurt Kimball, proprietor of Granny's, is quick to lend insightful advice and is at the ready to save his customers from needless repairs - although sometimes I refuse to listen....His first impulse is to find an economical solution to the problem. Honesty, integrity and warmth are seldom words one can attach to an automotive establishment, but in the case of Granny's Garage, they are all accurate. Feel secure and confident about trusting this mechanic with all your German car repairs.

After spending thousands of dollars in this shop on parts and labor, which they assured was "part of the problem," I was left with a car in the exact same condition I had brought it to them in. Furthermore, after convincing me that their repairs would "fix the problem," the owner ran me around, as he drove my car all over town and had me do the same for MANY DAYS, all in attempts at trying to reset some supposed "BMW sensons," which NEVER happened in actuality (and which other BMW certified mechanics laughed at upon suggestion). When they informed me that I would need to go to Los Angeles and seek out an automotive electronics specialist to fix my car even after all of the work they had done (at this point over $1500 dollars in work), I went to SB Smog Shop, where they fixed the problem for me and smogged my car for about $100 total. Apparently an oxygen sensor was simply put in incorrectly. THAT WAS IT, SO SIMPLE AFTER EVERYTHING THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT AT GRANNY'S! The folks at Granny's can only follow their computer prompted info and HAVE LITTLE TO NO MECHANICAL TALENT OR EXPERTISE. THEY CERTAINLY ARE NOT NEARLY AS REPUTABLE AS THEY CLAIM. I will never go here again, and I tell everyone I know about their horrible business ethics. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
