On fire with Prayer
When I walked into this church for the first time, a recognizable outsider, I was amazed at all the love I felt in the room. I felt more love from that room full of strangers than I often do walking into a room full of family and friends. The service began with spontaneous singing, shouting, praising and praying, and you could feel the fill the room. By the time Pastor Hilton Johnson rose to deliver the Word, the place was alive with the Spirit of God. He spoke with authority and conviction in his deep baritone voice. I was deeply moved, along with the rest of the congregation. After the service everyone introduced themselves and visited with one another for quite some time. My experience at Grace Tabernacle was one I'll keep with me forever, and I'm grateful for that.
Grace Tabernacle has since moved it's location Cullen Street, just North of Loop 610.
