I have been going to this office for years and trusted Dr. Gottlieb's office. I was seen at Gottlieb's by a different optometrist. After the eye exam, I chose my frames and paid. I received my glasses and after 1 week of wearing them and not adjusting to them, I finally went in. I was told that the lenses were for reading only and not computer and paperwork. I was then told that for an additional amount I could have the lenses changed, or I could pick a cheaper frame, or I could be out the money for the lenses and turn in the glasses for a "frame only refund". Dr. Gottlieb himself gave those 3 choices. With no apology. I of course chose the frame refund and am out the cost of the wrong lenses. The whole dollar amount of correcting the lenses, $70.00. The price of good will and doing the right thing to correct a wrong and have a return customer...priceless.
