Poor Customer Service
Hello I am a 25 female who lives relatively close to Food Lion. I have guests who are staying at my house for the week (former Marine Corp friends) and so I was in the store 2-17-2008 to purchase some groceries and wine. The cashier was very rude with a lot of attitude. The manager on duty was just as bad. Do not ever visit Atanette's line if you are interested in seeing a smile at check out. Or maybe they should consider self-checkout registers if they cannot provide friendlier service than that.

The Food Lions', on Wesetern Blvd, produce is not as fresh and the selection is limited.
I live a bit farther away from Harris Teeter, but will now shop there where I have always been treated with a smile, great customer service and where there is a better selection with fresher produce.
Pros: It's close to my house.
Cons: It's dirty, cashier has a bad attitude, poor customer service, long checkout (only 2 open)
