You may have a HORRIBLE experience with this group
I was a first time mom and was scheduled for an induction on a Tues. I went into labor the Friday before and called the office. The Dr. on call said "I didn't sound like I was in agony yet" so to wait because I probably was not ready. Sat night I was feeling ALOT of pain so I took the 1/2 drive to Rex and was seen by Dr.Michael F. Buckley, M.D. , he said I was not dilated enough, gave me MORPHINE for the pain, said "we don't give inductions on the weekends and sent me home"... The nurse also added "she too is a bad patient " and I tought "a bad patient I am in labor first time", I am scared and in ALOT of pain and now I need to go home 1/2 hour away and just suffer. And that's what I did the whole next day (Sun) and evening, I couldn't get out of the warm bath tub because the contractions were so painful and was afraid to call Buckley because I felt so not taken care of and afraid he would say "come in" only to give me more morphine and send me home once again. I would NOT recommend this group, they treat you like cattle and it is VERY difficult to build a Dr/patient relationship with any of the Dr's because every time you go you see another Dr. who by the way some DO NOT have a great bed side manner. And god for bid you go into labor on a Friday night and don't dialte enough, then you will have a memory of an experience of labor like as if you were in the early 1900's.
