The "Good Guys" Physically assulted me.. READ THIS!!
Well they threw me against a door then punched me twice in the jaw, once in the collar bone, and kicked me.
Here's the whole story. My buddy bought a car from them a little over a month ago. I'm know a little bit about cars so I met him at the dealership and looked over the car. There were a couple dings here and there that they had agreed to fix. Both my friend and I test drove the car and it seemed to drive well. Me knowing the KBB value of the car I helped in talking them down to what seemed like one hell of a deal. He brought the car to them a week later to have the dings repaired and the day they returned the car to him it started having transmission problems and was leaking tranny fluid so he brought the car back to them to fix the transmission and leak. Note that he was still under his 30 day warranty at this time. They then told him that he needed to bring it back the next week. When he brought the car back they stated that he was now no longer under the warranty, but they will agree to have the car sent to Drew Ford and they will pay half of the bill to have the car fixed. Stating that the bill would be $100 and my friend would be responsible for $50. My friend signed a document showing that he agrees to pay $50 to have the car fixed. Two days later they called and said that his car is ready and his half is $230. This is not the amount agreed on and was never authorized by my friend to do the work for that amount. My friend is not financed through Good Guys (thank god) and only his name and the name of the bank are on the title. So yesterday we went to Drew Ford and was advised that Good Guys had authorized the work to be done and therefore they are responsible to pay the bill in full for the amount of $460. The man at Drew Ford then called Good Guys and advised them of this. Good Guys agreed to pay the bill in full on one condition; that they come pick up the car and we follow them back to their dealership. Not really having a choice in the matter we said that we would do that if my friend (the car owner) rides with the Good Guys employee in his own car back. The employee stated that he felt nervous about my friend riding with him.. That he might try and hurt him... So we hop in my car and follow his car back. When they pulled his car into to lot I parked my car directly behind his so they could not move his car anywhere. When we get inside the man who drove his car (like an idiot) left the keys on his desk so my buddy swiped them... It's his car!! We then go into the managers office and after arguing with the General Manager over the amount owed he said "fine, give me the $50!" We gave him $50 and requested documentation that my friend no longer owes Good Guys any money. They General Manager made a document stating this, but then refused to give my friend a copy of it for his records. When my friend snached the paper stating that he no longer owes them any money the General Manager stood up and began to yell and him, telling him to give back the paper. Then another man (who I think may be the owner) ran into to office and began to yell at my friend. Screaming that he was Jesus of Nazareth and that he was going to F-ing end his life (City Search won't let me write the other word) him. He then turned to me and began to yell at me and telling me to get the F out! Then grabbed me by the arm and threw me against the door. Once I got outside there were four other employees that ran up behind me and kicked me. As I turned around one man punched me twice on each side of my jaw and once in my collar bone. I did not fight back as I am a civil adult... When I got to my car they started kicking both cars as I drove away... Of coarse when the cops arrived they denied the whole thing and the man who punched and kicked me conveniently was gone.. These people are the lowest of the low.
