I took my minivan in to be washed on 2/26/09. It was a warm morning with the outside temp about 46 degrees. I arrived around 9:00a.m. I was going to choose the exterior wash only, because I usually wash my car myself, buy once there, the attendant asked if I would like to add the wheel wash and tire shine. The exterior wash is $6.95, and then add the tire shine and wheel wash for $5.00 more, for a total of $11.95. I stayed inside the car since it was exterior wash only, and when the wash was finished and the attendants began "drying" the car, the towels they were using were damp and were leaving wet spots. I was then told to pull under the canopy so my tires and wheels could be cleaned. I then got out of my car and waited. The attendants quickly cleaned the wheels and tires. I then asked if they could go back over the car since it was still fairly wet in spots. They did. There was some solution left on the wheels and I asked about it, as to whether it would damage the wheels if it were left on. The attendant told me no, that it would dry. He asked how everything looked. I walked around and told him it looked alright. It's hard to see if the car is clean while still damp and under the canopy. Upon arriving home a short while later, I looked over the car again. The wheels were not clean at all, and still had dry brake dust on them, along with the cleaning solution that had dried onto the wheels. There were noticeable areas all over the car where the machine had missed washing or not gotten clean, and they were very noticeable. I had to clean the wheels again. I was dissapointed in this wash, and paying $11.95 for a wash that I could have done myself at a self-carwash for half the price. I won't go back again.
