I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Goff by a colleague a few years ago. My experience with other dentists in Santa Monica has not been pleasant and as a result of lots of bad dental work (from supposedly reputable and expensive dentists) I had become a total dental phobic and very cynical of dentists. I used to be so so nervous and shake so badly when I got into the dental chair that the overhead light would swing about!

I don't know what it is about Dr.Goff but she is very calming and I feel safe in her hands, Marsha at the front desk sets the tone for your visit, she has a beautiful smile that puts you totally at ease the minute you walk in the super clean, state-of the-art office ( I love high tech gadgets, and she has them all).

Going to the dentist is no longer the horrific experience it used to be, on 7/1/09 Dr. Goff took out 3 wisdom teeth and 2 other teeth and put in bone grafts in readiness for dental implants in a couple of months.

I cannot believe I went through that in one visit (I did have oral sedation and nitrous oxide) because a few years ago there was no way I would have agreed to any of that. How far along I have come with Dr. Goff!

So if you are a dental chicken, scaredy cat, dental phobic whatever you want to call it, you should go to Dr.Goff and experience her magic. Whenever Dr. Goff tells me that I, or my kids need some work done, I never feel like she is out to rip me off or I need a second opinion. You can trust Dr.Goff, you are going to get a great vibe from her. Stick with your gut and run away from those shady dentists!

I have been a patient of Dr. Goff’s for nearly 3 years and I really cannot say enough great things about her! When her practice no longer carried my dental insurance, I changed my insurance just so that I could remain her patient. I have always been happy with the care I received and I strongly recommend her to anyone who is seeking state of the art cosmetic or general dentistry and exceptional customer service. She is highly skilled and professional, yet also compassionate and easy to communicate with.

I had always been uncomfortable with my smile and recently made the decision to do something about it. Dr. Goff and her staff were amazing! They were so patient with me and explained every step of the process. I was very concerned about the cost but with the many flexible payment options her practice offers they were able to accommodate my budget. I know that I received the highest quality of care and the proof is in my beautiful new smile! People compliment me all the time now on my “perfect teeth”. I feel so much more confident and happy. Dr. Goff really changed my life. I urge anyone considering cosmetic dentistry to come by her office and view the book of smiles, containing before and after pictures that demonstrate her superior work.

I am ecstatic with the service I have been receiving from Dr. Goff since at least 2002. Dr. Goff is a true health professional. While the eyes may be the gateway to the soul and your smile even the gateway to one's heart, the truth is that the condition of the teeth and mouth is a good indicator of overall health. I grew up in a family of doctors and dentists who all started to retire in the 1990's and I seriously neglected my teeth and visited no physicians for quite a while when I was in my 20's and 30's.

Among the first things that Dr. Goff did was look in my mouth and ask when I had last seen my family doctor. You would be surprised how many times a dentist can help diagnose serious health problems just from the condition of your mouth. As a result, I not only ended up seeing Dr. Goff regularly, but also my family physician and both my smile and health have improved. I will definitely live longer with my teeth intact.

Dr. Goff has some of the finest training a dentist can get and she has not only mastered cosmetic dentistry, but also the care of teeth that are in dire condition as a result of neglect or disease. This kind of experience is what a seek from a family dentist for my wife and child. I have a dentist who not only keeps my smile looking good, but who checks for any sign of dental or medical problems each time she checks my mouth. That's what real dentists do.

In the meantime, Dr. Goff's staff has been extremely sweet and helpful in dealing with insurance billing and payment the whole time. I actually "enjoy" visiting the dentist's office and look forward to it - as much as anyone can - because I know the overall visit will be both pleasant and professional. The cost after insurance coverage has always been reasonable and I can definitely say I take care of myself better than I did as a young man when my family members all began to retire. Go see Dr. Goff and make sure you are in good health!

Dr. Goff seemed great when I went in for my oral exam. She was very kind and so was her staff. Little did I know what I was in store for. After an initial oral exam, which turned out to be $236, I was told that I'd need 17 caps. Yes, 17 caps. They said it would cost me nearly $20,000. My teeth have been ground down from years of grinding my teeth, but I didn't think I'd need to cap 17 of them. I told them I couldn't afford this treatment and they replied "It's Christmas time, maybe you could ask your mom".

I set an appointment to go in and get my teeth cleaned and when they called to confirm I asked if I was getting my cavities filled. They told me that they weren't able to do that since I needed to get all the caps. I told them that I couldn't afford the caps and that the hole in my molar needed to be filled. The receptionist told me to talk to Dr. Goff about it when I went in to get my teeth cleaned. I got upset and canceled my appointment.

I went in to get my x-rays for my new dentist and paid $25 to get them. They told me that was all of my payments. However, on 2/18/09 they billed me for $47 (apparently my insurance only paid $188 of my oral exam).

Dr. Goff and her staff were very pushy and I would avoid going there.
