The store owner, Leslie Leipziger, is knowledgable, friendly, and very helpful. She has a very good staff of teaching artists working for her and I have always been impressed with how nice they are. I have taken several classes there and enjoyed them all! You can learn metalsmithing, glass fusing, beadmaking, beading work, and a lot of other skills as well. They are always adding new classes to their repertoire. Besides making jewelry with glass fusing, you can learn how to make bigger things like beautiful dishes of different shapes and sizes. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, so even first-timers can feel comfortable there. They do carry a wide variety of beautiful beads and jewelry findings, and it is convenient to be able to buy in small amounts when you just need a few of something. I love Glasshopper Studio!‎

Love this place! Its hard to walk out of the store without buying everything! So many sparkly things! Great selection of Swarovski beads (by the bead or gross). Basically every color out there - which is hard to find in one store. Good selection of unique beads that you won't find elsewhere. Wide array of natural beads (stones, gems, shells). Also, offer an extensive array of classes from bead weaving, glass bead making, wirebending and it goes...I have yet to attend one but its on my list!‎
