The store owner, Leslie Leipziger, is knowledgable, friendly, and very helpful. She has a very good staff of teaching artists working for her and I have always been impressed with how nice they are. I have taken several classes there and enjoyed them all! You can learn metalsmithing, glass fusing, beadmaking, beading work, and a lot of other skills as well. They are always adding new classes to their repertoire. Besides making jewelry with glass fusing, you can learn how to make bigger things like beautiful dishes of different shapes and sizes. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, so even first-timers can feel comfortable there. They do carry a wide variety of beautiful beads and jewelry findings, and it is convenient to be able to buy in small amounts when you just need a few of something. I love Glasshopper Studio!
