I have been a customer since 2007 and have spent several thousands of dollars on prints, framed portraits, and framed canvas pieces. However, I am severing my relationship with Gissendanner because the wait time for receiving orders is absolutely unfathomable. We had portraits made of our newborn in February 2009 and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED the finished product. Further, they have not attempted to contact us to keep us informed of what's taking so long or when to expect delivery of our order, and when I call to ask, no one answers the phone. Of course, you are required to pay up front, so I have $1,000+ invested in a product that I do not have, eight months after ordering it. This has been our experience every time (last year it took six months to get two 8x10 prints). I understand that custom portrait studios take time to do quality work, but this is completely ridiculous and inexcusable.

Gissendanner Photography was hired for our wedding. We were married in November 2006 and have yet to receive a picture or album. Poor customer service! Full of excuses. Also, after talking with others, the product prices are way elevated and you don't get the rights to your pictures. I would not recommend this company at all.

We've used Gissendanner Photography for two daughter's weddings and the result were spectacular. The quality of the photography is excellent and their attention to detail is unmatched. Our family has used their studio for several years and we've always gotten more than we expected. I find it hard to believe that jmm2474 below experienced a problem below. Maybe they expected one hour photo turn-around from a high quality studio like theirs? I know Kim personally and he is a pleasure to deal with and anytime we've had a problem he's been more than happy to remedy the situation. They do a lot more design to their wedding albums. They even removed unwanted things and made me look beautiful! We hope that they'll be around for many years to photograph the grands.

The photos they took of my kids were great. We have been waiting to recieve more copies of the photos for 9 weeks!! Phone calls aren't returned. Lot's of excuses. Use this company only if you can wait a while to get the finished product.
