Ginza is the BEST!!!!
I love Ginza - the fish is the freshest, most delectable I have ever tasted. The salmon sashimi is sweet and fresh, to die for, and the spicy tuna rolls are incomparable. The Rainbow Rolls are bigger, better constructed and pack more flavor than any other rainbow roll I've had in my life. Portions are very generous, which is why it's a good value for absolutely superior sushi. Ifyou take someone to only one sushi restaurant in Houston, take them to Ginza! I've had almost everything onthe menu and have only been thrilled. I cannoteven go to other sushi restaurants anymore - I'm always disappointed because nothing compares to Ginza. Marvin's fantastic, and the service has always been great. Seating at the sushi bar is more casual, while the dining ambience at the tables is very nice. Go to Ginza - you will never want any other sushi in Houston!

lots of choices
Ginza has the biggest appetizer menu I've ever seen. I highly recommend their pepper tuna sashimi and their noodles (udons). The service is very attentive although there are only two or three waitresses at night. They also have tatami rooms that can accomodate big parties. If you want good food with a great ambiance, go to Ginza.

world class sushi
The sushi was impeccable. The main menu has the range of sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon, and the largest array of appetizers I have ever seen. The sushi and rolls come in large portions along with friendly staffs, and a lovely atmopshere. Definately a place to visit for sushi lovers.

For lovers of raw fish!!
In short - if you like to eat a lot of raw fish, GINZA has the freshest, largest portions in the city. I won't even eat at Miyako anymore. The sashimi at Ginza was terrific, and the nigiri pieces were overly-large and everything was VERY fresh. The service is excellent, they are friendly and attentive (although the check was slow in coming)

ummmmmmm
I am japanese and before I went to GINZA I was so excited about it. Their atmosphere was exactly japanese rural restaurant!!! Well I ordered sushi, they were not better than I had thought. And my friend ordered tempura , the tempura butter was greasy and I thought they are little bit too much tempura butter. when you go to the japanese restaurant, I would recommend that you try coco's, which is on the Richmond.I am sure Coco's has better sushi and tempura.
