Ghirardelli's is the place to go if you have a sweet tooth. Inside is a soda fountain with many ice cream treats on the menu. The chocolate is out of this world and comes in many varieties.

ghiradelli's is such a fun place to go to for ice cream, sodas, chocolates, and many other kinds of delicious treats! it is located at a prime downtown chicago people-watching spot. the shop looks like an old-fashioned ice cream parlor and the desserts are pretty tasty! ghiradelli's is definitely a touristy spot, but as a resident of chicago, i enjoyed an occasional trip downtown for their chocolate milkshakes.

I Admit The Prices Are A Bit High Here But I'm The Type Of Person That If Something Is Really Good I Will Pay The Price. This Is The Way I Feel About Their Chocolate Shakes, It's Rich And Very Chocolaty And It Is To Die For And I Don't Mind Paying The Price.

In Chicago we actually had an ice cream lunch. The ice cream is very smooth and tastes homemade. The prices are a bit high for the ice cream concotions, but well worth it.
If you are weight conscience or on a low carb diet I would recommend the water. It is a great place to people watch in the water tower area. Make sure you buy extra chocolates to go, it is a great reminder of your trip!
