Whenever I'm going to a birthday party and don't know what to buy I go in here for a gift. Second kids are hard to buy for since they may have received hand me downs from the first sibling. Geppettos seems to have toys that are unique and not stuff you'd find at the big stores. Or find easily. I usually say "I need a present for a 2 year old" and they point out several items, I pick one that looks cool and am out of there. They event have my information on file to make the checkout process even faster.

They'll wrap the present up for free. They also have special events that kids can attend that are themed for holidays, etc. Obviously, my daughter loves the store. They have a lot of hands on learning toys too.

Great little store while you are walking around La Jolla. They have high quality toys and puppets that you can't get at your local department stores. They have a large assortment of puppets, and collectable items. They have a nice assortment of cheaper toys in bins near the front. They have science kits for kids of all ages. They have many craft kits also. They have some really pretty barbies and barbie clothes. They have wooden toys, and toys for kids to ride on. It's really fun just to look at all the stuff they have in the store.

Great loaction in La Jolla, parking is iffy, but the return policy is awesome, they put you in their system, so even if you lose your receipt , you are always in their files. Wish they WERE bigger, but at least they are in downtowm LJ!
