George Almaraz pressured me for money to purchase tiles under the pretense that only one pallet of the tiles we wanted remained. When we discussed installing the tiles a few weeks later, he increased his asking price by $680 over his original bid. We requested bids from other contractors and decided to give the job to another, more professional contractor who guaranteed his bid. When I told George, he got angry and told me he would have to call me back. Two and a half months have passed, he has never called me back and will not take my calls. He stole my money and I believe never even purchased the tiles. A few weeks after he supposedly purchased the last remaining pallet, I asked him if that would be sufficient for the job. Obviously forgetting what he had told me, he glibly replied, "we'll just purchase more". He is dishonest, a con artist, and a thief - STAY CLEAR!!!
