George Fox University provides an education that helps students grow academically, professionally and spiritually. Founded in 1891, the university has made the integration of faith and learning central to its mission as a Christian college.

George Fox has also received accolades from many national media outlets. In 2010, Forbes ranked the school among the top 150 colleges in the country, and No. 2 in Oregon. More recently Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine rated George Fox among the top four Christian colleges and top 80 private schools nationwide in its "Best Value" assessment. George Fox was classified as a first-tier "Best Regional University (West)" by U.S. News & World Report, which also listed the university as a "Best Value" school. Finally, The Princeton Review included George Fox in its "Best in the West" selection.

The above rating applies to the Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology only, but the entire school deserves a hearty "congratulations" for all of its hard work. This is a first-class university in a beautiful setting in semi-rural Oregon. Its commitment to Christian concerns and causes should be duly noted. Great emphasis is placed on building a sense of community among faculty and students, and also on giving back to the community to which the school belongs.
