I'm not gonna go Asian writer on you and address the beginning of this review by saying, "dear george or dear cheeseburger?" LAME.

Man, this place isn't what it used it be. I remember it used to be near what is the new Las Posas Exit. The burgers surpassed that even in and out. But for some reason when I came back here recently, it just didn't have that same pizazz that won me over the first time around. The cheeseburger didn't have the same taste as it used to. I even believe the bun was different back in the day. Note to Georges: we notice these things!

They have a very very diverse menu. Greek to breakfast to Burgers to Mexican. Talk about random. It's okay, nothing to rave about. Good if your a student at the local community college, Palomar.

This place is never empty at lunch time, which I think is a testament to the great value. I'm gettin' hungry just thinking about the yummy burgers, fries, pastrami sandwiches, and salads I've enjoyed there over the years. They also offer chili, fish and chips, great big Greek salads, gyros, tuna melts, turkey sandwiches, and a host of other great diner classics. The interior and ceiling of this location is painted to look like a Greek ruins, country side, and blue skies with whispy white clouds (leading to me believe the owner is of Greek descent).

I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal at George's - plus their prices won't break the bank either.

Great place to take the boys to lunch from the work site! Greasy burgers, excellent fries and onion rings at a very reasonable price. Everyone will be happy they came for lunch!

George Burger is a great place to get some good ol sliders, fries, and rings. The breakfast burritos are great, and have been for 25 years. Huge portions, and great prices. I would highly recommend this restaraunt. They have a good size menu and specialize in quality fast food.

George's is truly a San Marcos landmark. My parents took me to George's as a child, and it was always a treat. Now that I have my own family I do the same. All special occasions were enjoyed with George's burgers, homemade onion rings, and fries. If you're feeling like something healthy their Greek Chicken Salads are out of this world. They have great food with great prices, and the atmosphere is always friendly.
